sari dunya mai ronaq laganywala rehgayatanha mehfil mai

chaltay chaltay jo lag gaya kanta dil k naha khanay mai
takleef hui bohat ,wo sar-e-aam ro para mehfil mai

kuch kehna chahta tha wo,kuch poochna chahta tha
kia karta k dewaron k bhi kaan lagay thay mehfil mai

ankhoon k paymanay jhalak rahay thay yun
bin piay bhi wo madhoosh tha mehfil mai

larta raha sari zindagi jang-e-wafa wo
har manli usnay magar bhari mehfil mai

kiun itna asar hai munafiq ki baaton mai "sadaf"
us ki ghalat ba'yani bhi manlaytay hain sab mehfil mai
